Call to Arms: Gates of Hell

Call to Arms: Gates of Hell is an historical RTS game based on Men of War’s GEM 2 engine developed by Barbed Wire Studios. The game portrays the battles of the Eastern Front of WWII with a realistic and historically accurate approach. From the first day of operation Barbarossa and the streets of Stalingrad to the Battle of Berlin, Gates of Hell aims at maximum immersion.

I have been working at Barbedwire Studios as a level designer since 2017 in parallel with my studies at Rubika Supinfogame. I produced several maps for the game recreating real locations from satellite pictures, heightmaps, WWII era maps and aerial photographies. Extensive research has been put into the creation of these maps to ensure maximum quality and immersion, as well as an accurate portrayal of the real battlefields.

In November 2020, I became Lead Level Designer, managing a team of 4 mappers as well as taking care of organizing the tasks following the beta feedback and plan the content for post-release and expansion packs.
